i got another computer. its an HP Pavilion a250n. put 256mb ram and a 60gb hdd. im loading xp on it now. i just realized i left my sata card in the other computer and i gave it back to my girlfriend... GRRR
i guess i'll just set up everything else tonight...

BTW, after I installed iPrep, I went to run it and it said "no devices found" in a little text box. I click ok and it takes a second and loads up. I'm assuming its giving me that error because I didn't have my VIA in because I didn't have possession of it... I did, however, make a bootable usb with iPrep and rebooted and booted from the usb drive and it ran. This afternoon I plan on installing the sata card and installing the drivers and testing it out, updating my BenQ to 1.41... Are you guys using 8x or 12x? I think I have 8x on it now but can't remember. I'll lock thread when I get it all running.

I use 12x myself. If the drive is louder that a helicopter, I might put 8x on it, just depends on how loud it is.

iprep gave you that error because it could not find a sata port of any kind.
after you put in your card it should be fine.

hell yeah! i flashed my x360 and firmtool ran and i didnt have to make my own hacked bin. im so ready to flash x360's... not sure about the hitachi ones but all the others haha.
