ixtreme 1.4 vs 1.5 and xbox live

Hi just wanted know whats the big change in the 1.5, i see that the firmtools are all updated and should i update to the 1.5? It seems more difficult and confusing...lol. I have the1.4 but never been online, cuz im scared ima get banned, and has anyone have ne trouble with the 1.4? I just want to download patches for the games i have.Thanks

The main updates are:
Enhanced c/r timing - all drives
Enhanced disc jitter - all drives
Enhanced bad angle support - all drives
More secure firmguard - Benq

I'd definitely update if i were you but that maybe because i prefer to always have the latest firmware. Nobody can guarantee that they won't get caught in the next ban wave but the safest option is to avoid playing downloaded iso's and only play games which you have backed up yourself from original discs.

well some game updates come from the disc and then there are game updates that come from live.
