cant write to drive with dosflash

hi guys..got a liteon drive..ive got the keys...dumped 3 times just tp make sure key is good...made the cfw with jungleflash...made the usb bootable flash drive...copied the dos folder from the ixtreme 1.5 folder to the root of the usb stick...copied the CFW i made into the dos folder.....followed iprep dosflash guide...can erase......when i get to the writing part....it just stays on flashing bank 0....thats it...any ideas please

are you trying to flash from via?

I would double check the erase has worked properly. You should be able to flash the erase command worked. Have you flashed before off this pc?

ok thanks...had to remove the usb lead from the ck3 pro...yeah mate..this is my 3rd liteon ive done ....now ive got a hitachi to do ...drive made in october 2005..its a GDR-3120L...lol...thats old...think ill do it the iprep way...will post back..ta

What is the model of the Hitachi? You flash them in windows not using iPrep.

As cyantific said iprep isn't the program to use. I use toolbox for hitachi's but some prefer Jungleflasher.its down to personal preference.

connectivity kit and via sata card doesnt work...it wont pick up the drive....so i used the onboard sata and slax cd....got it into mode b and finished the flashing in windows...all is good...thanks for the advice guys...
