Hitachi Laser to Samsung drive ???

Hi everyone can you use a laser from a Hitachi drive in Samsung drive??

Never mind now,
I opened both my Hitachi and Samsung drives,
seen that the lasers were the same.
swapped them,
works but still having problems.

Well i though i would give it a go and see if it was the laser giving me problems,
So i took the laser out of my broken Hitachi drive and installed it in my broken Samsung drive,
Does the same thing, shows PLAY DVD on the screen,
If it is a bad key that's giving me the problem then i don't know what to do,
But the key looks normal to me,
Is there a way to validate that the key matches the motherboard?
I guess the moment of truth will come when my new dvd drive arrives

There is no way to verify the key with that machine. You have to have a working machine with a modded drive in order to even run the exploit so you can get that information, and then it would have to be a 360 with a vulnerable kernel version. I'm thinking your just going to have to wait till you get your new drive in and flash it and see what happens.
