Memorex is crap.
if you cant find verbatim try sony.
most all DL burner will work fine.

yea stay away from memorex, i only use verbatim.

not sure sony is much better either, i used a sony cd-r to play re5 demo an it sputterd in the opening, i then burned it to a verb dvd-r an works perfect.

then again my drive is @5x but still the verb plays fine.

bottom line stick with verbs i say.

I would bet it's the disks also. Verbs are tried and true. If there was another alternative we would be all over it.
