RESTOREING A DRIVE

hi guys i thought id start a new thread as my problem escalates to many problems.....so
now i need to restore my ms28 vA back to stock as now its a £40 brick, is there a tut for doing this i have the restore that cofree passed on but its a bit bland is there another 1 ?.

you have everything you need to restore the drive from the work we did late last night - you seem to be encountering problems with the actual flashing which can relate to a number of reasons

I will list some obvious reasons for you & it really is a process of elimination...

1) make sure you have all other drives disconnected - the only option you want to see is ixtreme primary master
(if you have other options then iprep is detecting other drives!)

2) make sure you are connected to the right port on your via 6421 card >> viewtopic.php?f=63&t=1611&p=9564#p9564" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

3) If you still have problems then it's possible you have prepared the iprep/usb flash device incorrectly - in which case you may need to do it again from the beginning

over & above this it is quite possible you have bricked the drive - since I have no way of understanding what you have done up to this point it's difficult to determine...

I do have a final question - what operating system are you using (xp, or vista) when you prepare the iprep/usb flash drive??
