Hey guys.
Have a big problem.
I have a xbox 360 Dg-16d2s lite on 83850c. June 09
I tried to play Dead Island, it locked up on update.
Then I flashed it and the update from the Dead Island work fine =)

But then started hell.
Tried FIFA 2012 but the update does not work
Have tried the latest system opdate from usb
Error code update:
335A-351f-1600-0703-C000-0099
Tried to flash with Jungle flasher v0.1.88 and ixtreme lt plus 2.0 again, the key and made manual spoof but will automatically
filmware type LT-PLUS 1.1.
Is that correct ore is that becuse i have dashbord 12625.0
Do I take this manually to get the right filmware Firmware \ LTPlus-025-v2.0.bin
Hill can I find out which update dashboard version?
What do i do?
I can not get new update..

Some clever guys who can explain me this happy in a simple way so I understand this.

you can never take a update from a backup game disc
you have to use a cd or usb flash drive.most of us use a usb flash to do dash updates

get the latest update dash from Here
make sure you have the hd hook up
or enough room for the update to work.i think you need around 150mb

then you need to flash in the v2.0 firmware for your drive.

When I use the newest SystemUpdate_13599_USB
system update is starting:
update required.

Update in progressive.
x update failed 335A-351f-1600-0703-c000c0099.

is this becuse I have a new filmware and a old dashboard.
Can get back to my old filmware and start agein.
it may be the problem?

yea
flash the dvd drive back to stock firmware
also clear the cache
also
put a different Hd on the console just for the time being
and then try to update

also it cant have a spoofed in dvd drive
it must have the kind of drive that came in the console when it was new.

Your drive should also be stock. No LT 1.1 or 2.0 on it, flash it to stock, take the update, go to 2.0

Never take disk updates like cofree said, they are almost always incomplete, in my experience they always update your console but not fully and can cause issues with certain things. Biggest thing was AP 2.5 if you did a game update almost all your ap 2.5 games would fail, but if you did a manual usb/cd/dvd update your games would start passing the check.

I had the exact same problem. I tried to play a backup of madden 12 and it locked my drive. I had to flash back stock, and took the update from there.

IMO, trying to create your own update USB or CD disk with the update in it IS NOT as straightforward as it appears. It seems that the USB or the CD you want to use must have some particular specs. I tried to do it on my own and it failed miserably each time. I tried different USB's and failed I tried DVD blanks and failed. I tried CD's and failed. Before you question me, I followed the tutorials and all tips and tricks, and it just didn't work out for me.

The way I solved the problem: After flashing back to stock, I went to blockbuster and rented GOW3. Pop it into my console and my drive updated flawlessly.
