im replacing a benq for a benq and need HELP!!!

yeah man you NEED to update iprep, also reformat you flash drive completely then start again (make sure you OFW is ok & make a back up)........

what sata card are you using???

Is the new drive 2nd hand i.e has it previously been flashed on another machine???

im using an nvidia nforce 4 mobo

and im not sure the drives prev life

well one of them is that firmtool is not starting for some reason.
most of the time that is because a sata cd or hard drive is plugged up at the same time as the dump

im going to try doing it at my friends house. he has an nvidia mobo with sata. maybe its something with my computer.

We've seen lots of people try and fail with nForce mobo's, I think all the guys here would recommend the VIA card (see my sig) to give you a better chance of getting a good dump/flash.

Don't get me wrong, some people have had success with nForce boards, but most of the time, they won't connect to the drive.

I think livrevuk is correct. The varied nature of your errors are most likely compatibility issues with your onboard SATA. I had a friend try to flash a BenQ and FK78 with his onboard SATA and kept getting errors. Once he bought the card CoFree recommends, he had no problems getting the Hitachi into mode B with Slax or flashing the BenQ.

i got the via. and still the same problem. i ordered another vad6038 maybe thats what was wrong

try a different usb flash or even try a floppy disc if you have one .as long as you know it work fine.

wait. whats a floppy? lol i was thinking the sam r alot cheaper. could i do a benq to sam. i see alot of ht to sam but nothing about going from a benq to a sam. i need to know so i can bid on one. thanks. oh i will try another ffd but i dont think its that.
