had an xbox from someone wich needed updating and flashing, i tried but it had the wrong dvd drive so the update wouldnt have it, so he bought the original drive for the console, comes back a few days later with it i plugged it into the xbox just to make sure it was working (try a dvd, obviously a game wouldnt work without the proper dvd key), turned the xbox on and BAM! 3 RED LIGHTS!

i didnt bother checking mate, it was nothing to to with the drive because i put the other drive in to see if it would work too, no luck :/ first of all when iturned the consol on it game me the xbox intro, stayed black for a while then bam!

i used to fix them too but too many people didnt understand that it wasnt a permanent fix and its life time could be anything! so ipacked it in, just flashing consoles now
