CK3 Lite connectivity kit and probe problem?

hi fellas,

trying to flash a friend's lite on drive the 74 version with this kit and probe. the main problem is the probe i think.

short story, the probe has 2 lights and i dont think the bottom light is suppose to be green constantly. when i touch the 707 point on the drive, it turns off green. has someone experience this? is the probe fried or defected?

also, i used the same comp running xp to flash my friend's other drive sammy and hitachi without the kit. do i need to buy that via com pci card? my impression is that if i was successful with the sammy and hitachi, do i need to buy that pci card?

Hmm that weird. I would try and get the key, and if it fails contact the people you got the probe from. I wouldn't buy the card unless I was having problems flashing the drives.

thanks for the quick reply. well i'm returning it and getting a new one. damn flashing this lite on is harder than i expected and i'll have to wait probably another week till i get package. what's weird is that it kept failing to dump the key and then the probe just constantly turned green. anywho, when i used klustch iprep and cofree said to use viacom i dont see that option?

do you think that might be the problem that it's failing the dump? but again, this is the comp that i used to successfully flash the hitachi and sammy. thanks again for the input.

hey fellas,

been out of the scene for awhile cause of work but since fifa 11 came out i need to flash another friends xbox. i think he has the lite on where you need to use the probe.

just wondering if there are other products besides the lite and premium kits out there that can flash all drives, sort of like a catch all? i got the probe but it got fried again, 2nd time and now i don't think i will buy another 1. Should i just buy the premium kit or is there another product out there for the best bang for my buck?
