Guys, I know that we are all excited about Benq LT being out, but I would probably hold off flashing until CoFree, Sadilus, Shootsteel, or one of the other mods tries this first. They can test all they want, but I am not risking it. Just my two cents.

I've flashed a few and it works great so far. As far as iprep. I think you might should wait just a little bit. I think they need to test and see if firmtool will handle building a new firmware based off the Benq LT. It may need more than just a new ixdef file.

Looks like iPrep needs some work still for Benq...

From Klutsh.
Well for definate iPrep in it's current state does not work with BenQ LT FW (EVen the Beta).
I need to write complete new patch routine to work with the BenQ FW, Whoever posted a ixDef on xbins obviously did not check if it would even work.

Having tried 3-4 different source FW's, using firmTool or a quick modded liteTool, every single one fails to be patched correctly.
I will try my best to get this done ASAP, but be warned I am still learning to code DOS tools.

For the time being the ONLY tool that will correctly create a BenQ-LT FW is JungleFlasher.
iPrep can still be used for reading & flashing, just not patching.

It means either wait until Klutch releases an update to iPrep or use jungle flasher to flash ur benq.

It means once you get your dump, you will need to use jungleflasher to build your hacked fw and then use iprep to flash it. iprep isn't building the hacked firmware right from what I understand.

I've just flashed up to LT on my benq and it works great. I used Jungle flasher.

Only downside, I plugged in the network cable and I have been banned. :( Not connected it to the net in 12 months or so, they must have caught me before that. Ah well.
