burning

i recently flashed my sammy ms25 and burn a backup to disc on a verbatim which fired up and played first time,but now it wont load at all just gettin open tray , my dvd laser is new and it plays originals fine , any ideas as to why , i did burn it on my laptop but my dvd writer is dual layer

seems to be loading up now but when i press play 360 freezes , any ideas

could be a number of things
the v25 is a old drive but if you have replaced the laser that is good
but
orig disc are much easier to read than backups

the freezing thing could be bad
has this 360 ever gave you trouble
if it a v25 it could be about to rrod on you
even if its been back to M$ for repair
it could be about to do it again

it was only on backuos it freezes , originals are fine , i was burning with imgburn on optimal but i read that if im burning from DL image i need to set layer break to specific , but my friend is gonna post a backup which he has burnt and works fine so i can establish if its a 36o related issue or my burner,as i am burning on my laptop , it is a dual layer burner but mite be a crap one
