need help with samsung drive

I was wondering if some one can help i just got this xbox 360 from some one and it has a same samsung drive i don't know what drive it is ms 25 or a ms 28 wont no that till i open it up.
But my question is i have not read up on the xbox flashing in over a year when i was going to flash my sons xbox 360 with a benq drive now i got this second xbox that has a samsung and was wondering what is the easiest way to flash the samsung now since flashing has come a long way now since a year ago can these drives be flash with a usb dos flash i think it is called the mtkflash i have got some information on flash these drives.I guess my biggest ishu is saving the original firmware any help on this would be very helpfull or evan videos on flashing the samsug. evan on how to make your bootable dos program and what i will need to get the job done

by the way you will need a via6421a or L chipset sata port to flash with.

well flashed my xbox 360 to day every thing went well i guess but one question witch file is the origanal firmware there is a backup folder with two files in it one says (SAM-CFW and the other says SAM-OFW )

the "sam-ofw" is your orig firmware.

open it with firmware toolbox and just make sure it has a good key.
if you have flashed it
and
it is playing games then it is a good key.
make some backups of the "ofw" for safe keeping
