Its a benq vad6038, its locking up my computer so I'll have to flash it through dos probably.

No sorry I have no system restore points set. When I was in firmware toolbox and I went to save key before I spoofed it, would this make a log somewhere? If not is there any modchip I can use to get the original key?

I still have the benq_ofw and the benq_cfw but both of them have been spoofed as liteons and have the key injected from the liteon, would there be anyway to somehow revert these files back to get the key?

No it didnt prompt me to save key.bin so I didnt. The drive in question with the missing key has been spoofed as a liteon there would be no way to read the key from the drive or would it just keep giving me the original. There must be someway to get this key as it was`in firmware tollboox and jungle...

Ok I was spoofing a benq as a liteon and as I was injecting the key into the benq I think I lost the original as I have no benq firmware with a different key apart from my liteon key. I was using firmware toolbox 4.8. And I pressed save key before I replaced the key so would there be anyway to recov...

This happened to me on the last liteon i flashed, i thought it was a bit hard when I put it in and I went to power up the ck3 but straight away i noticed no light on the probe or on the ck3 itself then just a little puff of smoke before I turned it off immediately. I then plugged it in the right way...

There is a shorter way, you can just do it all in jungleflasher. Ive updated a sammy and a benq that way.

The ETA for the flash on the liteon drive has now been confirmed as 24 December, so it has been done just waiting for the release now.

Ya im just getting a new 360, well I think ill just go ahead and get a new anyway and see how it pans out. If I get a liteon I have a solution so itll be alright.

Ok I am purchasing a new 360 drive soon and would like to know the best way to avoid the new lite-on drive, be it by looking at mfr date or lot number?

ok the error status report has changed to

which means it is banned, just wierd how it was different for a while. Is there anyway of appealing bans or the like?
