It will boot, but depending on what you are going to try and do, the other part may or may not work.

I am not sure what you are saying. I am modding sam25. I have on xp iprep and jf, neither will read my firmware correctly. I cant replace def file because I don't have the resource file or tools file. I am very new to this, I have a pretty good understanding of verbage, but not really sure with xbox. If you could explain a little for a dummy I would appreciate it.
Where do I insert the def file at.

put ixdef file in C/program files/iprep/resources
