DIY Probe

Simplicity in itself and saves you a few dollars/quid.

Find something metal which is quite thin (needle, pin etc.)

Attach it to a short length of wire (preferably soldered) then insulate the join (for added grip you could place the pin inside an empty pen then tape it up, alternatively an old multimeter probe is ideal)

Splice it into wire 11 on the ck3 (top left wire if you're looking at the connector with the 2 raised splines facing up)

Once again preferably soldered then insulate

It should look something like this:

That's all there is to it. Sit back and bask in the adjulation from friends and family on a job well done.

cool i already have a maxim chip to make my own extractor, gotta finish these solder lessons 0_o

That's sweet, yea same backlash.. I dread the day. samsung ms25 ftw. :twisted:
