For some reason the ps3 is not reading any of my games. Of course I called Sony and they said that they would replace it for a fee of $150.WTF LOL More than the 360. $150 I can buy myself another 360. So yea does anyone know how to fix this problem.

Im doing a bit of research for a friend of mine who has the same issue and from what i understand its a laser problem.
There are two solutions, the first is to just clean the laser but because it is concave a cleaning disc will not work so you will have to strip the drive to get at it and the final solution is to replace the laser, you can get both types of ebay.
Im going to start my friends drive on Tuesday so ill let you know how i get on. :)

P.S Im no expert so if i am wrong someone please correct me..

Exactly correct, you cannot clean the BluRay laser with any current cleaning discs (some reports they do more damage).
Removing the laser is the only option if you wish to clean the laser but from what i've heard that only has limited success,
So replacing the laser is the usual option.

OkI still have an issue. When I reassemble the drive and put everything back together and test a disk. It would take it into the drive and makes these weird knocking sounds. Any advise or tips?

Ok. Now another issue is that when the disk is in, it won't attempt to read the disk. And when I try to eject it itget stuck and make the same knocking noise before.
