I was wondering if anyone else might want a small thread to talk some iphone...the scene is quite large now with gaming app hacks and custom firmwares...or should questions, etc., just be filed under 'Computers'

Yeah, the iphone/ipod touch scene is pretty large. I've already got a thread right here in this section asking for folks that are interested to post. I'm interested for sure. I just updated my touch to 2.0 and used the pwnage tool to jailbreak it with.

I may go ahead and create a section, but I'm not sure where it would fit in.

ok, I went ahead and created a forum for ipods and iphones. You'll find it in the computer gaming & hardware section.

CoFree, if you don't like where I put it, or think it maybe better suited somewhere else, feel free to move it. It was the only thing I could think of at the moment. Also, if anyone has trouble posting to it, let me know as I may not have set the permissions right on it.

If I get one, can I write it off as a business expense from you all?? haha. I mean I'll jailbreak it and do a bunch of sh*t with it.

You don't have to worry about a blackberry package with an iPod touch, just have to have access to wifi. I think there pretty neat. We'll see if they are worth the money soon enough.

Yeah my roommate got an iTouch a few months ago, then this summer got and iPhone, the new one I think. But yeah, if I got one, it'd probably be the iPhone cause I have a 1st gen Nano and it just sits in my car connected to my radio.

iPod touch is an iPhone, only without the phone part. But there are some pretty cool apps specifically for the iPhone.
