XCM CASE HELP ALL EXPERTS NEEDED

Hi I just bought The whisper fan max and the XCM black chameleon case with LEDS.
I hook it up every possible way and the DVD drive will just not eject I take the Bezel off and It will still not work.

The Fans and the LED'S will work and the Fan and the DVD drive will work Just not all three at the same time.

I spent all day trying to figure this out and maybe I over looked the setup of the wires(there were no instructions)

I Would Pay you 10$ Via Paypal if you can fix this for me PLZ I REALLY WANT THIS DONE THX

The answer is simple. When all three devices are connected, the fans and the LED's are taking too much power away from the DVD drive. You need to find a different power source for the fans or the LED's.

well man i dont have that same setup,but i have a 12v fan mod running on a black chameleon case with leds.
its all getting power from the dvd drive and works fine.

it sound like you have done the same stuff i would have done.trying it all the different ways.
here is a 12v splt on the mobo that can be used.if you want to find a different 12v
there are other one also.

Were can I plug the LED's Into were is the other spot on the Mobo??

there is no other plug any of the other12v spots have to be soldered on.

so what are my options beside soldering I dont understand why the DVD drive wont power with the LEDS plugged in.

remember the trouble you had CoFree when you were trying to flash with a blaster while having the xcm case led's hooked up?

Well I can get the Fans and DVD to work so is there some Box I could Plug the LED Power Cord into that operates by say batterey becasue I wont be able to do the 12v Mod Because I don't solder.Any Other way to power the LED's???

there should be a small button on the out side of the case that will turn off the led.
in between the black case and the clear sheet where the leds are hooked to.
see if you can plug it all up,turn the leds off and it work.

im not sure what that was about.
i undid the thing a few times and it started working.
flashes just fine now with the leds on or off.
i dont know what that was about.

Still no luck but I just Noticed that I can't even Have the LED's and the DVD drive so thats were the problem is.

My setup is Power cord to Mobo and other end to LED circut than LED circut cord to DVD drive.

Result: My dvd drive wont eject and Middle light on rol flashes like in mode B but LED's are there.

PLZ Help me resolve this.

if it will not work even with just the case leds then i dont know what to tell you.

i dont have a wisper max fan.
i just did the 12v fan mad and put on the black case.

Could it be my power bar this is a 2week old xbox I heard they changed some volts around?

i just dont know.
on the new consoles that have a 175w power supply may have changed things around in the console and the drive may be running on less than 12v or less millamps.
