Greetings Robin Hood members

I would like a few questions answering if possible guys before I go ahead and flash my Liteon 74850 from firmware LT+ to the newer LT 2.0

1. This is purely a offline console its never used on live so am I right in thinking that first I must do the dashboard update before flashing to LT 2.0 ?
is this neccesary if its offline anyway ?
2. must I revert to stock first before reflashing or updating to the updated dash ?
3. will the upgrade to LT 2.0 and newer dash stop any older backups from then running ?

you should flash back to stock
you need the new dash for xdg3 games and in a short amount of time all games will be xdg3

you should
it dont take but a few min and it will save your console getting flagged for ban
when you do the dash update and it sees you are running a hacked firmware

nope
unless its a ap25 game and has the ap25 patches for a older dash
the patch in a ap25 game needs to match the dash

man
flash console back to stock
take dash update from USB FLASH
reflash dvd drive with v20 or latest hacked firmware
and you are good to go.

Hi cofree HELP!

I managed to reflash back to stock ok
then applied dash update
but on reflash with LT2.0 it hung on writing 1st bank !
so now drive temporary bricked ?
if I follow bad flash guide can I use Iprep to flash to LT 2.0 ?
what course now should I follow please

the bad flash is for hanging up on the erase

first i would try to flash the stock firmware back in

Panic over , managed to recover and erase thru jungleflasher then reflash all is well !!
