E68 repair

Ive got an e68 hard drive error that needs fixin'. I know its the hard drive thats screwed up and not the console. Ive seen some vids on youtube about some ghetto fix involving foil as a jumper on some pins, but this hdd has no pins to use. All I know is this xbox is an elite with a 120gb hdd and it has sata connections on it. Any advice?

You can try the ghetto fix, ive used a jumper a couple times and it hasn't worked for me, but it may work for you.
Most times if a HDD goes it goes, there usually isnt much fixing, most times its just a replacement.

this hdd has no pins to jump. What am I supposed to jump?
