Need Help!!

On flashing a Hitachi v59 drive in JF 1.51, do I need to dump the older firmware first and then flash it with the new? Also, do I need to unpack the ixtreme firmware before putting it into the firmware folder? Thanks.

yes you need to dump the drive and get the drive key/info.
if it has been previously flashed, then you will need to return the drive to stock and proceed from there.
