Robin Hoods Playground

Hello there RHPG, silly question time ive got a old 60 gig ps3 hdd and the disc drive on My Wii has died at the momment im running my backed-up games on a usb pen drive ,but with funds low was wondering if i can just buy a docking station for the ps3 hdd and play my back-ups on this, of course it will have to be formated to suite, i was just wondering was it possible,or am i talking nonsense, been looking on the net and found nothing on this,but only the knowledge of not all hdd's will work on the Wii.So i thought i might just try here.

Thanks mr CoFree, i take it when you say " if your set up is right " that the hdd is formated to WBFS i will be using a program called wbfs manager .Thanks again,will keep the the post updated when i do it.

Hello all, got it working
had to format the drive to ntfs
and then using wbfs manager format to wbfs
the usb loader i used as a wii channel was Wiiflow (could not get usb loader GX to work but GX worked fine with the usb pen drive).

All in all a great save it only cost me £20 (for the docking hdd station) and using a old ps3 60gig hdd that was just lying around the house that was never to be used again,this will keep my son happy for a bit, i know its only a small drive but its better than nothing.
