upgrading liteon 74850c 1.6 to 1.61

I tried it last night and locked up my lite-on last night...
Got the following from another site but I would just like to make sure I understand what I'm doing and get it 100% correct next time.

"Have you still got the old fw file ?
Just add it as a source in JF then add target fw (1.61) then spoof to target, Erase lite on ,power off/on then intro and write...
if you haven't got the file just read the lite on drive in JF and add your 1.61 fw to target manually, erase liteon,power on/off, intro then write"

1) Is the old fw the the saved liteon_cfw.bin from my previous 1.6 flash?
2) On the Firmtool32 tab do I use the "open source" function to load the lite-on_cfw.bin file and then in "target fw" I select the new 1.61 fw and then I just click "spoof source to target" ?
3) Then continue with lite-on erase, etc as mentioned?

EDIT:
Think I've got it sorted now, I've got to use the Dummy.bin from my previous flash as source and not the lite-on_cfw.bin.
