silent hill - the homecoming bug or what ?

anyone notice that there is a bug in the game ?, i dint mean the actual bugs in the game...lol,,,,,,,,,,the part in the hotel, when you have to bring the woman in room 303 .....3 post cards...i have got 2, but the 3rd card is in room 403, to get into this room you have to drop down from the hole in room 503....i do not get the highlighted keypad "X" i think it is to climb down from the hole in room 503 to get into room...403?....any ideas or do i start the game again..?
