Do you know if this box was modded or not?
I heard some rumor that when they banned stock console's it was only for a certain period of time.

Sorry guys I was in a hurry this morning....details follow.
A benQ drive modded with 1.61 prior to the ban
This console is in the ownership of a long time friend/client
He was really banned as I helped him to recover all his crap from a corrupted HDD that was in use. (Gamertag 1)
He gave it to his son to use yesterday afternoon to use in his room.
His son recovered his gamer tag to this unit (gamertag 2)
(not sure the gamertag has anything to do with it) and his son never played on this box previously with gamertag 2.)
Just got off the phone with him...still chugging along online fine.
I don't know why or how but this is the second time I heard about this happening but the only one verified personnaly.

Funny thing is when you try to login on a banned console it says "youve been banned... This cannot be reversed" Apparently it can without a problem...
