update problem urgent

i have tried putting the folder on to a mem stick but still the same

i also tried my sons hard drive his as the new dash but when i turn it on it goes staight to the error

if i want to put the new dash onto my younger sons xbox so i can use his hard drive how can i do that he never goes online
his firmware is still 93450

right now, if you turn it on, it will error out and will not show a dash at all

sorted now lads , i cant believe i was so stupid i was trying to get the update off a copy of dead island but i had original firmware on the drive so i wont read it will it lol

was this a backup disc

trying to take a update from a backup disc is going to be a very bad thing because it will try to update the console and flash the dvd drive
but
then it will not be-able to read the back up disc because its running stock firmware on the drive.

yes mate it was a backup it asnt flashed the drive it as updated it now and everything is ok now , cant believe i didnt see that
