Ixtreme Lite 1.7 just released!! JF v1.70 also!

Finally the newest firmware version 1.7 or more specifically called LT or light has been released. This is not a full release yet as it's only for the Lite on model drives. Expect to see samsung and benq versions shortly with hitachi still fine with 1.51. You will also need the new 1.70 jungleflasher to perform the flash all other processes are the same. The site will be updated shortly to cover the new changes. You will find a brief summary of the new firmware below. I thoroughly recommend updating if you have the lite on model drive.

Warning! Ensure all disc images are checked with abgx as LT assumes all stealth/ss/pfi/dmi is correct. Disc images must also be splitvid and preferred SS v2
Warning! LT will not save you from being banned if console is already flagged by using a previous firmware or non-stealth discs
It is also advisable to apply all system updates before flashing with LT. All future console system updates (not game updates) must be applied with caution

1.51 on a hitachi is detectable, because I was banned with 1.51 running, so lets hope they do end up releasing a hit version.

The ONLY way the hitachi is detectable is if you played a game without the proper ss/dmi/pfi or incorrect wave. The 1.51 doesn't provide stealth (much like this new LT), so you need to make sure your games are 100% in abgx.

Okay, so I wanted to report back here after applying Ixtreme LT.

SUCCESS!!!

I was lucky to have the easiest drive of all, the 83850C. It was extremely simple, and all my games work (yes I have tried them on LIVE also).

Not so lucky here. Banned the minuted I logged into live, must have been flagged already.
LT 1.7, liteon 73, Left 4 Dead 2 checked with abgx.

There is a way to check if you are banned before actually connecting to xbox live. If you pull up your status codes on the xbox, there is a certain code sequence that shows if you are set up to be banned.

Sorry to hear the bad news. Hopefully you put your gamertag on a memory card and not on the hard drive, that way it will only corrupt your memory card.
