Re: Photoshop
I'm pretty sure elements is very stripped down, but you could still do a lot with it.

Re: Dual Boot Hackintosh finally working
Well the mini is the fiance's, just hooked up an external hard drive and dvd drive and installed it easily. The netbooks are easy though.
I'm getting closer to getting it to work, just so time consuming.

Re: Dual Boot Hackintosh finally working
The problem I've been running into is either that distro I dl'd was messed up, or it won't install because of my hardware. There's got to be a way. I've been on hackint0sh and insanelymac reading like crazy, but nothing is really helping. I've been able to clone an existing install from my dell mini...

Mine is a little slanted, I assumed it was just from use. The right side is a tad higher.

Re: mixing ddr3 1333 and 1600
Check for support, your 1600 will downclock to 1333 if you don't overclock your 1333 to keep up. Your computer will always run the lower speed, not 2 different speeds.

Re: Would this work?
Yes, should be a nice setup. Get a good CPU fan to keep that thing cool if you plan on overclocking it. Stock cooler does great, but if you push the processor to get it to 3.2GHz then you'll want something better.

Re: Sharing Internet between comp an 360
I'd just buy a hub or get a cheap belkin router and turn off DHCP. I use a belkin router my internet company gives out and just turned off DHCP and use one ethernet cable from my main router, and then plug in my 360 and desktop into it. Keeps everything on the same network so I can share out my movi...

I have a friend that has a Hero and he seems to really like it. The android OS is really customizable and has a lot of apps and other hacks you can do if you like all that jazz.

Re: Windows 7 or vista..?
after_burners: You should try to reinstall it, I have it on a 4 year old laptop and it runs great. OP: I say Windows 7 is just like XP but had a Vista facelift, but thats not exactly a bad thing. XP had much better compatibility than Vista ever had, and like what CoFree said, the support right now f...

Re: dual booting 7/vista
You can typically edit the boot.ini file and edit the timeout option that lets you pick what you want to boot up to. Its a hidden file so you have to allow hidden files and folders to be able to see it in the WINDOWS folder. Just don't delete anything or you'll screw up the system.
