so i hard modded my battery into a pandora. i need to replace it but i dont want to spend 40 50 bucks on a straight up sony oem battery. Has anyone bought one of those cheap ebay batteries, if so how are they.

i had the same problem awhile back, i did the dvd drive pot tweak on it and it hasnt frozen since. that was a samsung drive though not sure bout a benq drive but i assume you can do it on all 360 drives. theres a tutorial on the pot tweak in 360 tutorials section.

ok the whole misunderstanding was i was working with the dumped original firmware files the only thing i did was spoof the original firmware files i never applied it to any drives im just messing around trying things i have about 5 drives sitting around so why not.

your right, i think it was dumb luck. i think even if i didnt jack up the dump it still would have been a bad dump with a key full of f's. i do have a exact samsung drive that dosent have epoxy all over it and i counld take the components from that drive but with no solder points on the burned drive...

check it out these pics are from a 360 samsung drive that was employed to me to try and fix. now i fixed plenty of 3rod and done a couple of pot tweaks all with a sucssesfull outcome but this is stupid. i dont know if the drive blew then the owner tried to fix but obviously his or her soldering skil...

no i didnt cut it out of the case directly, its painted on a clear window. i used an airbrush to blend the window and the case together so it looks like one piece. oh, i picked a pirate cause im in the navy so it seemed right. thanks for the commpliments
